There’s a Tuesday are an exciting new 4 piece indie folk/rock/pop band from Christchurch. The band consists of two female front women both on guitars and vocals, Nat Hutton and Minnie Robberds with Angus Murray and Joel Becker holding it down on the bass and drums.
In 2019 the band won the solo/duo division of SmokefreeRockquest which allowed them the platform to produce their debut single ‘piñata head.’ Recorded at Neil Finn’s Round Head studios. The single reached number 13 in the New Zealand singles chart which was then swiftly followed by another critically acclaimed single ‘Sound of the Stars.’
The band has just finished recording their debut EP a dreamy indie pop rock/folk which is scheduled to drop this November as well as their first single of the EP ‘Amsterdam’ out on October 23rd.
TAT has just finished a 5 date tour of NZ with Christchurch band The Butlers which included a headline show at The Isaac Theatre Royal, and sold out shows in Wellington, Auckland and Queenstown. In November the band was to be supporting Mako Road on their Australian tour along with two dates in Wellington (Australia shows now postponed.) This summer they have landed slots on RNA, RNV, Le Currents, Electric Ave as well as many other notable festival slots to be announced. As well as this they have their first headline tour this December. It’s fair to say TAT has no sign of slowing down and have had an amazing first year.
